Managing Director, USASIA International Inc.

Roland Chi is the Managing Director of USASIA International, a regional commercial real estate investment and development firm specializing in Orange County projects.  In this capacity he is charged with all business development and overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties.

Roland is the founder and President of the Sustainable Community Foundation of Orange County (SCF), a non-profit community development and scholarship foundation, with a mandate to support community based food projects such as farmers markets and downtown revitalization efforts in economically depressed areas.  He also currently serves as a commissioner on the City of Fullerton's General Plan Advisory Committee and the Infrastructure Review Committee.  Roland was previously appointed Chairman of the Planning Commission for the City of Garden Grove, the youngest in the city’s history.

Roland holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California, and has undertaken post graduate studies at the University of California, San Diego Graduate School of International Affairs and Pacific Studies (IRPS) specializing in international economic development.
