Korea Daily Profiles NetKAL Fellow Nick Bosco
ImageA Fellow in the new NetKAL IV class taking place on the East Coast, Nick Bosco was recently interviewed for an article that appeared in Korea Daily:

Nick Bosco, one of the NetKAL IV fellows, is a CEO of ‘Bosco Design Group’, a graphic design firm whose clients include Maxim Magazine, Bud Light, Coca Cola, and Spike TV. As a model and an actor, he appeared in Sopranos and Law and Order, and also worked as a model for commercials for IBM, Verizon, Intel and such. He was born in Busan and was adopted to a Italian-American family when he was 2 years old. “I was told I was really skinny at the time I was adopted. But the Italian food.. I was built enough to take the position of offense lineman at my junior high school’s football team.”

Fourth NetKAL in Maeil Economic Daily

Active Image"Fourth Fellowship of Network of Korean American Professionals Selected"

Members of the fourth session of NetKAL (Network of Korean American Leaders), a group of Korean American professionals, have been selected recently. NetKAL consists of successful Korean American elites in the United States. It was founded to provide a network for Korean Americans who are outstandingly active and play important roles within American society. The members of the fourth fellowship were selected from the East Coast area, centered around New York City. Korean Americans who work on Wall Street in New York and in politics in Washington D.C. make up the majority.

Young Korean American Leaders Visit the Old Country

ImageSome 40 successful second-generation Korean-Americans arrived in their ancestral home on Sunday. It was the first visit of members of the Network of Korean American Leaders (NETKAL) since it was formed. On arrival, they visited the historic Gyeongbok Palace in Seoul to get a feel for the old country.

During their eight-day visit, they are to visit the Ministry of Information and Communication, Samsung Electronics and the National Assembly and talk with the communication minister and other leaders here. They will also visit the Museum of Independence and the armistice line.
